Recreational Vehicle (RV)

Whether you use your recreational vehicle for fun or as a full-time residence owning an RV comes with risks. These risks can happen when you're on the road or when you're parked in a campground. You need to have insurance for your RV that will protect you and your financial responsibilities, while satisfying your state's requirements.

What can RV insurance cover?

RV insurance is very similar to car insurance. It covers collisions, damages, and injuries. You can also add extra protection for your belongings, equipment, and anything else you have on your RV.

  • Total loss replacement coverage
  • Campsite and vacation coverage
  • Emergency expenses
  • Towing and roadside coverage
  • Full-timer coverage if your RV is your full time residence
  • Uninsured and underinsured motorists coverage

Classes of RV
  • Class A: Includes models as the luxury coach, converted bus, and motor coach. These vehicles can be up to 75 feet long.
  • Class B: Is the smallest class of recreational vehicles. These vehicles do not have a cab-over, and can also include cargo van type designs, travel trailers, and camper vans.
  • Class C: Includes vehicles that use a standard cargo van as the driving portion of the RV and the camper portion extends over the cab area. This class covers fifth wheel vehicles.
